Kadaba, Sep 23: A student studying in first PU at a private college and residing in the hostel of the college went missing on the morning of September 21. He was traced to his relative’s house at Bengaluru by the staff of college and sent back to his parents’ house in Chikkamagaluru.

As per the complaint filed in Kadaba police station, Anjan C M (16) is studying in first PU of private college in the taluk. He said that he is going to college on the morning of September 21 when he left the hostel. However, at 12.40 pm when the college students returned for lunch, Anjan was missing.

On inquiry it came to light that Anjan did not attend college. The staff of college informed the matter to the complainant. This matter was brought to the notice of the principal who contacted his parents at Chikkamagaluru. They also said that the student has not come home.

Later the staff of the college searched Anjan throughout and could not locate him. At last he was traced to his relative’s house at Bengaluru and was sent back to his parent’s house in Chikkamagaluru.
