Mangaluru: Yenepoya Pre-University College reopens after Covid lockdown

Mangaluru, Sep 22: The students of Yenepoya Pre-University College were delighted to have their first day of college on Wednesday, September 22 after being tested negative for Covid-19. There was excitement, energy and enthusiasm and the students were heartily welcomed by the campus director, principal and all members of staff.

School hallways that had been quiet for months were buzzing with activity as students made their way to their new classes, met their lecturers and reconnected with friends while maintaining physical distance and Covid 19 protocols and precautions.

All Classrooms, corridors, furniture and the whole campus were sanitised and the students were seated maintaining social distancing norms in the classrooms. The students and staff were also required to sanitize their hands befor entering the school busses. Regular rounds were taken by the campus director, principal, lecturers and other members of staff in view of safety of the students.
