Udupi: KAPICON 2020-21 annual conference held

Manipal, Sep 21: The 38th Annual Conference KAPICON 2020-21 of API Karnataka Chapter organized by API Udupi- Manipal chapter and department of Medicine, Kasturba Medical College, MAHE at Hotel Manipal on September 18th& 19th.

The theme for the conference was “Empowering physicians for emerging challenges”.

The Inauguration was conducted on September 18 evening by chief guest Dr H.S Ballal, pro-chancellor, MAHE. Lt Gen (Dr) M D Venkatesh, vice-chancellor, MAHE, D PLNG Rao, pro-vice chancellor of Health Sciences, MAHE, and Dr Sharath K Rao, dean of Kasturba Medical College were the guest of honor in the programme.

The inaugural speech was given by dean Dr Sharath K Rao, Dr V A Kothiwale, chairman of Karnataka API chapter, Dr H K Rajshekhar, chairman elect of scientific committee KAPICON 2020-21, Dr M Narayanaswamy, hon. secretary of API Karnataka Chapter, Dr SudhaVidyasagar, organizing chairperson of KAPICON 2020-21;Dr Shivashankara K N organising secretary, Dr Raviraja V Acharya joint organising secretary and HOD of Medicine, Dr G S Chandrashekar, joint organising secretary and HOD of Adarsh Hospital, Udupi were present.

Programme ended with concluding remarksfrom Dr Shivashankar K.N.

    Kapicon conf was really a feast of knowledge. Arrangement were very nice and environment and ambient was attractive.
