Hebri: Hit by lorry, motorbike rider killed

Hebri, Sep 17: A lorry and a motorbike got involved in a collision at the road bend near Keltech in Waranga village within the limits of Hebri police station on Thursday September 16. In this accident, the bike rider was killed on the spot.

The victim has been identified as Jinadatta (42). He was moving towards Hebri from Muniyal when the lorry which came from the opposite direction hit him. After he fell to the road along with his vehicle, another lorry which was following, dragged away the rider and his bike for a considerable distance.

Hebri police who have registered the case, have charged the drivers of both trucks with reckless driving.
