Bantwal, Sep 13: Bantwal Sarapadi resident, Ganesh Beedi contractor Janardhan Bhandary (60) passed away at a private hospital in Mangaluru on Sep 12 after a brief illness.

He was a drama writer, an amateur artist and was an excellent volleyball player. He was an active member of Daivasthala Yuvaka Mandala, Mulkajemada public Ganeshotsava committee and Yakshadhruva Patla Foundation trust, Sarapadi.

He has left behind his wife and three sons including journalist and Udayavani newspaper reporter KIran Sarapadi.
