Kaup: Man accidentally slips, drowns in rivulet

Kaup, Sep 13: Karunakar Poojary (60) from Shiroor, Byndoor, accidentally fell into a rivulet near Mallaru here and lost his life. The incident came to light on Sunday September 12.

Poojary was employed in a hotel at Kaikamba, Surathkal. He had left his residence at Mallaru at 3 pm on September 11. Thereafter he was not to be seen. On Sunday, his body was found from the rivulet at Mallaru. After the matter was conveyed, the man's son and other relatives arrived and identified the body.

A report about the incident was filed in Kaup police station.
