New Delhi, Oct 9, (PTI): It is Hollywood calling for actor Anil Kapoor as the actor has bagged a role in Tom Cruise starrer 'Mission Impossible 4'.
Kapoor, who shot to international fame with his role of a televisionquiz show host in Danny Boyle's Oscar-winning film 'SlumdogMillionaire', will play an important role in the action franchise.
"At this point I can only say that have been contacted for 'Missionimpossible 4' and I have said yes for the role," Kapoor said refusingto divulge details about his role.
The actor is reportedly playing a baddie alongside 'The Girl WithDragon Tattoo' actor Michael Nyqvist, who plays the main villain.
Apart from Kapoor, other major stars roped in for the fourthinstallment include 'Hurt Locker' actor Jeremy Renner as Cruise's partner, Paula Patton, Ving Rhames and Simon Pegg.
After his 'Slumdog Millionaire' success, Kapoor also got a major role in TV series '24', where he played a leader from middle-east.
The plot of the film, being directed by Brad Bird, remains a topsecret.'Mission Impossible 4' is slated to hit theatres on December16, 2011.
