Kadaba: Ganapathi Katte damaged by miscreants

Kadaba, Sep 11: Miscreants damaged the Ganapathi Katte (Pedestal for keeping the idol of Lord Ganesh) on the night of Friday September 10. This incident is reported from Udane near Nellyadi in the taluk.

Ganeshotsava was celebrated in a simple manner on September 10 by the Sarvajanika Ganeshotsava committee of Udane. The steps of the Ganapathi Katte were decorated with plantain saplings. These saplings are destroyed by the miscreants and also the steps are damaged by putting heavy weighing stones on them.

Police of Nellyadi outstation post have visited the spot and are investigating.
