Chikkamagaluru, Sep 11: After a lorry hit a man and his daughter who were travelling by a motorbike at Uddeboranahalli village within Sakharayapatna police station limits in Kadur taluk of the district, both the people on the motorbike were killed.
The victims of the accident were Jayanna, a resident of Muguluvalli village in Chikkamagaluru taluk, and his daughter Rakshita (20). Jayanna along with his younger daughter, had been to his elder daughter’s residence in Pillenahalli near Sakharayapatna to hand over the customary 'Bagina' on the occasion of Gauri and Ganesha festival. They were returning home when the accident happened.
