Udupi, Sep 10: Special executive meet of minority morcha of Udupi district BJP was held on Thursday, Sept 09. BJP Udupi district President Kuilady Suresh Naik inaugurated the program.

Dawood Abubakkar, President minority morcha presided over the special executive meet.

Udupi district BJP vice President Shreesha Naik in his special session spoke about the role of minorities in Indian republic and in the party.

Alwyn D'souza, general secretary read the report of activities conducted by the minority morcha. Vice President Chiranjeevi Jain  Ajekar proposed for the strict implementation of cow slaughter prevention act and demanded strict action against offenders. Abdul Muttali Byndoor, Vice President approved the proposal.

Speaking on the occasion after receiving the memorandum President Dawood Abubakkar said "A child grows by drinking mothers milk in its earliest stage.  Then it will drink cow's milk. Cow is as scared as mother. Strict punishment should be awarded against cow slaughters. The cow should be declared as national animal" he also ensured to convey the matter to government.

Alwyn Dsouza was honored on the occasion for being appointed as district in-charge by Karnataka government for 15 point programs of the Prime Minister.

CMC Member Prabhakar Poojary, district in-charge minority morcha Nayana Ganesh, district convener A Shivakumar, and others were present on the occasion.

Michael D'saouza Chitpady, Secretary Gretta Mascharenhas, Gilbert Braganza compeered the program.

Vice President Gerald Dsouza Sooda,  Sheikh Asif, Mohammed Afsar, Rudolfh D'souza rendered vote of thanks.
