Bengaluru: Archbishop Peter Machado compliments graduates of St Aloysius College

Bengaluru, Sep 8: Archbishop of Bangalore Archdiocese Most Rev Dr Peter Machado congratulated the budding graduates of the St Aloysius Degree College and Centre for Post-Graduate Studies and complimented them on successfully completing their studies in spite of the present Covid-tampered situation.

He was speaking as the Guest of Honour at the Graduation Day function on Tuesday.

The graduates who passed out with flying colours in the final year of B.A., B.B.A., B.Co, B.C.A., B.S.W and M.Com were accorded a warm farewell.

Dr Latha Christie, DRDO Senior Scientist, as the chief guest motivated the students by advising them to diligently follow the three key aspects of life: Attitude, Discipline and Values.

The Thumboochetty Foundation initiated awards to the toppers with cash prizes, which would be a continuous gesture in the forthcoming years.

The Graduation Ceremony was attended by the members of the Thumboochetty family- Ravi Thumboochetty, Pratap Thumboochetty, Joseph Mari Raj and Jayakar Jerome, former IAS officer, Anil Dsouza (Governing Council Member), Joseph Stanley (Director of SKIP), Fr Prashanth Madtha – Secretary ABE, Sisters of St Joseph of Tarbes, Governing council members, Manager – Fr Prashanth Prem Kumar, Principal – Dr Sr Sagaya Mary, Vice Principal – Fr Vinoo Fabian.

The outgoing students shared their sentiments as Aloysians.

Principal (Dr) Sr Sagaya Mary administered the oath to the graduates.

    It is so nice to see our youngsters are progressing reasonably Well in furtherence of their futures in Advance Studies of their choice. Fortunately for them all avenues are open and that is how things are better for them. Encouragement is also there and so they should take advantage of it. Our Lord is Gracious and Kind therefore they should not bother very much and with the help of their mentors and parents they will surely do Very Well ! Wishing my Good Wishes and Good Luck to them !!!
