Five Indian Fishermen Held in Pakistan


Karachi, Oct 7 (IANS): Five Indians were arrested for fishing in Pakistani territorial waters, authorities here said.

The Maritime Security Agency (MSA) arrested the five Indian fishermen for being within the Pakistani territorial waters, Daily Times reported Thursday.

MSA spokesperson Lt. Commander Naeem was quoted as saying that the Indian fishermen were arrested while they were fishing in the exclusive economic zone Tuesday night.

Their fishing vessel has been seized.
