Puttur: Group biking - One dead, two injured in separate accidents

Puttur, Sep 7: A few young people from the city had together undertaken group biking on Monday September 6. One of the motorbike riders was killed after his vehicle rammed into a container truck while two suffered serious injuries after another motorbike in the group fell on the road after its wheels skidded.

The group of friends had left the city by eight motorbikes on Monday morning on a joyful ride. One of these motorbikes driven by Manoj, resident of CRC colony at Kaudichchar, Puttur, hit a container vehicle near Enjira in Kadaba taluk on national highway 75. After being thrown to the road with great force, Manoj breathed his last on the spot.

The members of the group who were ahead, got information about the accident. They returned to the city. On their way back, another bike in the group fell on the road after its tyres skidded, as a result of which both the riders suffered serious injuries.
