Mangaluru, Aug 27: 'Not the cry, but the flight of a wild duck, leads the flock to fly and follow'

The student council establishment enhances in students the skills of communication, planning, organisation and leadership. We had our cabinet inaugural at Ladyhill Victoria Composite PU College on August 27, 2021.

Sr Rosilde AC, the joint secretary of Ladyhill Victoria Institutions was the chief guest for the occasion. In the absence of our principal Sr Ujwala, vice principal Sr Judith AC, administered the oath and congratulated the members of the students' council.

The newly appointed members were-
College president- Ashwini
College vice president- Aysha Faiza
Education minister- Beefathima
Sanitation minister- Saniya Ghati
Sports minister- Zainaba
Discipline minister- Nishana
Activity minister- Samanvitha Rao
Library minister- Keerthika Shetty

The programme began with a prayer service followed by the inaugural ceremony of the student cabinet by lighting the lamp. The members pledged to serve the institution, their alma mater as the vice principal administered the oath and also proclaimed their duties. Sr Judith honoured them with badges and Sr Rosilde adorned them with sashes.

Sr Judith addressed the gathering and her message emphasized the four steps to achievement - Plan purposefully, prepare prayerfully, proceed positively and pursue persistently. Her key words were "Please give heed to everyone who needs your light so that you make a change in the society."

The teaching and support staff were also present with few students. Varsha Jogin of Science, compered the show.
