Bantwal: Case filed against 10-member gang for assault on youth

Bantwal, Aug 27: A case is filed in Punjalakatte police station by a youth of assault by a 10-member gang while he was going on his bike with his friend.

Kiran Kumar is the victim of the assault. He was going from his house at Kukkala on a bike along with his friend Nitin. It is alleged that a gang of 10 strangers stopped his bike at Punjalakatte market area, abused him in filthy language and assaulted.

Kiran sustained injuries on his head due to the assault and is admitted to a hospital. Police have arrested three people in this connection and are investigating further.
