Udupi Bhima Jewellery turns 13, social workers honoured

Udupi, Aug 27: Bhima Jewellery, Udupi completed 13 years of its existence in Udupi on Friday August 27. On the occasion, a short felicitation programme was held in addition to the inauguration of special offers at the store here.

Fr William Martis, Vishu Shetty Ambalpady, Nithaynada Volakadu, Riyan and Poornima Janadharan were honoured on the occasion for their service to the society.

After receiving the honour Fr William Martis said that the founder of Bhima Jewellery was basically from Udupi town but started his first store in Allaped. “Due to the love and affection towards the native town, they have started the store in Udupi. Gold is one of the best assets for investment as the value of gold does not fall always. May Bhima Jewellery grow even to greater heights in the coming days,” he said.

The first customers of the day K Prahlad Nayak and Rajaram Hande were honoured on the occasion. During the programme, Joe Anthony, business head, Guruprasad Rao, cluster head, Karthik Rao, Udupi store manager, Prasanna Rao and others staff of the store were present.

On every purchase of gold, upto Rs 800 is waived off on each gram of Gold, upt o Rs 10,000 discount on each karate of diamond, upto 40% discount on making charges on purchase of silver, and additional Rs 50 will be given on exchange of old gold.

As an anniversary offer, one out of every 10 customers can win a 1 gram gold coin.

The anniversary offer will be held from August 27 to 29 at the Udupi store.
