Mysuru: Overhead tank crashes - Boy killed, his brother serious

Mysuru, Aug 25: After an overhead water tank located in Kaveri Enclave private enclave on Hunsur-Mysuru highway crashed to the ground, a boy died and his brother suffered serious injuries.

Sudeep (12), son of Manju Naik and Saraswati couple from Hullenahalli village, died in the incident. His brother, Pradeep, suffered severe injuries to his limbs. He has been admitted into a hospital at Mysuru. The incident happened on the evening of Tuesday August 24.

The parents of Sudeep were harvesting groundnut crop grown in the field located by the side of the said extension, which belongs to Manju Naik. Sudeep and Pradeep were standing near the overhead tank nearby when the tank all of a sudden fell down.
