Mangaluru, Aug 22: With the blessings of A Shama Rao founder of Srinivas University, and under the guidance of Dr CA A Raghavendra Rao chancellor of Srinivas University, Mangaluru has celebrated “PONNONAM 2K21” in a grand and traditional manner.

Inauguration was done by lighting the traditional lamp on Saturday, Aug 21 in the university block at 10.00 am by Dr A Srinivas Rao, Pro chancellor of Srinivas University .

The programme started with a traditional Malayalam onam song in the most jubilant way. After that  Devaseelan, Dean AHS, Srinivas University College of Allied Health Sciences addressed the gathering.

This followed by setting up an attractive floral decoration (pookalam) at the foyer. Various competitions and games were conducted amidst much fanfare involving all the interns, teaching & non-teaching staff.

Cultural programs of teaching staffs which followed throughout in a manner of cultural and tradition of Kerala in the form of dance added a culmination to the PONNONAM 2K21.
