Mangaluru: St Agnes CBSE School Bendore observes Photography, Humanitarian Day

Mangaluru, Aug 19: August 19 is observed as World Photography Day as well as World Humanitarian Day. No occasion in India or anywhere in the world is complete without a photograph. World Photography Day is an annual celebration of the art and science of photography. World Photo Day originates from the invention of the Daguerreotype, a photographic process developed by Frenchmen Louis Daguerre and Joseph Nicephore Niepce in 1837.

World Humanitarian Day is observed to pay tribute to the humanitarian aid workers who endanger their lives for the greater good of other people. This day is dedicated to pay a special tribute to the real-life heroes who have committed their lives to fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.

To mark the importance of these days St Agnes CBSE School organised umpteen of competitions. These competitions motivated the students to explore their skills. The following is the list of competitions held to observe Photography and Humanitarian Day
