Udyavara Shree Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Ayurveda College celebrates 75th Independence day

Udupi, Aug 16: 75th Independence Day was celebrated at Udyavara Shree Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Ayurveda College. Dr Captain L Ramachandra, Senior Surgeon City Hospital Udupi hoisted the national Flag on the occasion.

In his message to the students Dr Captain L Ramachandra shared his experiences working with the military. He also stressed upon the efforts of the soldiers in the peace keeping. He also spoke about the responsibility of protecting the independence of this nation.

Dr Mamata K V, principal presided over the function. She explained about the contribution of Ayurveda in the development of nation.

Top scorers in the University exams were honored on the occasion.

Adarsh Shetty, physical director compered the Flag hoisting program.

Dr Nagaraj S, medical superindent SDM Ayurveda hospital Dr Niranjan Rao, dean post graduation department Dr Veerakumar K, student welfare officer Dr Vidyalakshmi K, NSS Officer Dr Muralidhar R Ballal, general manager SDM Ayurveda Pharmacy were present on the dais.

Student Arijith Bhattacharrji welcomed the gathering student council president Sheethal proposed vote of thanks. Karishma Anwar compered the program.

To remark the 75th independence day the program was conducted in Hindi language. Students performed patriotic songs on the occasion.
