Mangaluru: Lourdes Central School releases annual magazine 'Loudite 2020-21'

Mangaluru, Aug 16: Lourdes Central School released the edition of the school magazine Lourdite 2020-21 with the theme 'Hope Amidst Despair' during the 75th Independence Day Celebration held in the School grounds.

Dr John Baptist Saldanha, manager LCS and Ashok Pinto, vice president of Bejai Parish Pastoral Parishad released the school magazine Lourdite 2020-21 of LCS with the theme 'Hope Amidst Despair' during the 75th Independence Day celebration held in the school grounds.

Lourdite 2020-21 consists of the messages by the heads of the institution, annual report, the academic and non-academic achievements of our students in the state and national level, reports and photographs of the activities and celebrations held online and offline from the commencement of the academic year in June to the closure of it in April. The articles of students and teachers that are of varied themes, languages and genres, the name list of winners of intra-school and interschool competitions, pictures of school notice board decorations done for each event held during the year, speeches delivered on important events by the resource persons, students and student winners could be savoured flipping through the pages.

We thank God Almighty and the Lady of Lourdes, the school patroness for showering the choicest blessings on all the members of the Editorial Board. The consisted of Fr Robert Dsouza, the two sweet words 'thank you' are not enough to appreciate the micro planning done, and guidance given by the chief editor, the principal, Fr Robert Dsouza to publish the Lourdite 2020-21 during this pandemic where no physical classes were held.
