'Legacy of India’s struggle for independence'- Online webinar organised at St Agnes college

Mangaluru, Aug 15: The NSS Unit of St Agnes College (Autonomous) organized an online webinar program for the first year NSS volunteers “The legacy of India’s struggle for Indian independence" on 14th August 2021.

The program began at 4.00 pm with an introduction by Merin, MC and anchor of the program. The program was initiated by a welcome speech by NSS program officer Meera. The resource person for the session was Dr. Savithri K, retired professor of History, Besant women’s college, Mangaluru.

Dr Savitri, during her address, emphasized on the duties of the students and the youth in general towards nation building. She also highlighted the sacrifices of various freedom fighters who had struggled for the independence of India. The session made the students realize their role in making our country a developed and leading nation in the world.

Vineetha, NSS Officer, proposed the vote of thanks. The program ended with the NSS anthem.
