M'luru: Flower arrangement workshop held at Srinivas University College of Hotel Management

Mangaluru, Aug 2: A flower arrangement workshop was conducted at Srinivas University College of Hotel Management and Tourism in the Housekeeping department on July 31.

Professor Gayathree K, HOD, Department of Home science, Besant Women's College, Mangaluru was the resource person of the Workshop. The students of final year BHMCT actively participated in the workshop. Professor Gayathree spoke about the importance of flower arrangement in hotels and exhibited skills needed to make professional flower arrangements in various styles and shapes.

Students came up with hands-on practice on making different arrangements of flowers. On this occasion, Professor Swaminathan, dean, extended the floral welcome to the resource person and Subrat Saraf, assistant professor and workshop organizer presented the vote of thanks.
