Panaji: 'State museum to come up at Old Goa soon' - CM

Panaji, Aug 2: Chief minister Pramod Sawant said that the Goa state museum would be constructed at a cost of Rs 10 crore and the land has been identified at Old Goa for the same. The foundation stone for the museum would be laid before December 19, he added.

In response to the demands, Sawant said the government will increase the minimum salary of all teachers on contract with an upper limit of Rs 25,0000. He also said that that till made permanent, their jobs will be secure.

He also said the international film festival of India (Iffi) will be held on time this year and that a film policy will be prepared soon.
