Bengaluru, Aug 1: Admission process to degree classes of next academic year is going to begin on August 1. In order to do this online Unified University College Management System (UUCMS) is implemented.
Every year the admission process to degree classes used to start on the very next day of announcing results of second PU. However, due to the formation of online technology for admission for the academic year 2021-22, the admission process will start a little late.
All eligible students of Karnataka can apply for degree classes through UUCMS from August 14. The education department instructed all colleges to form a help desk and guide the students.
Students who have passed second PU can apply on https://uucms.karnataka.gov.in/ from August 4.
There will be no increase in fee for degree classes for the academic year 2021-22. Government has decided to continue the fee structure of the academic year 2020-21 for the coming year also. There is no application fee for degree courses. Admission fee is Rs 80, Tuition fee Rs 940, Lab fee Rs 260, medical examination, transfer certificate, education proof certificate, Reading room fee is Rs 140, sports, library fee is Rs 100 each, college development fee Rs 200, Scouts, Red Cross Rs 50 each, Teachers and students welfare fund fee Rs 25 each and NSS fee is Rs 90.
For post-graduate courses (except MBA) application fee is Rs 50, admission fee is Rs 100, tuition fee is Rs 1,000, lab fee Rs 300, medical examination, transfer and education proof certificate Rs 100, Reading room Rs 100, sports, library and post-graduate department development fee will Rs 100 each. In addition, admission fee, registration fee, examination and other fees will be taken by respective universities. Fees of Rs 20,000 for general MBA students will continue.
