Bantwal, July 30: “The governments at the centre and the state are stressing on women’s empowerment through women cantered schemes. Mahila Morcha should make this message reach every house,” said Bantwal MLA Rajesh Naik Ulipadiguthu.
He was speaking in the special executive meeting of BJP Mahila Morcha held at Rangoli auditorium, B C Road on Friday.
BJP block committee president Devappa Poojary assured complete cooperation to the work of Mahila Morcha of uniting the party. BJP Mahila Morcha president Bharati Chowta presided over the meeting.
District BJP Mahila Morcha president Dhanalaxmi Shetty, secretary Pooja Pai and Bantwal in charge Asha D’ Silva were on the dais.
Kamala Prabhaker Bhat was felicitated in the meeting. Lakhita R Shetty welcomed. Seema Madhava compered the programme and thanked.
