Udupi, Jul 16: A new website of St Lawrence Pre-University College, Moodubelle was launched on July 15.

Sudhakar Poojary, president of Belle gram panchayat launched the new website.

Fr George D'Souza, the correspondent who inaugurated the programme opined that development is possible when all the participants of the school work together. Philip D'Souza, topper of 1969 SSLC batch delivered his message virtually.

A floral salutation was offered to late Fr Ambudius D'Souza and late Fr Alexander Lobo, founders of high school and PU College respectively.

P D Kamath, the honorary advisor of the alumnus association wished them good luck with the programme. Ida Gibba D'Souza, president of Rotary Club handed over the television set to a student of the 8th standard sponsored by Ravindra Kamath. Anil D'Mello, president of Lions Club launched the adoption programme by handing over uniforms and free books to 8th standard student Sahan.

Alwyn Mathias, a website designer, Ivan Menezes, Anil Alva were honoured on the occasion for their technical assistance to the institution in conducting online classes and other activities.

Elias D'Souza, president of the alumni association, Br Philip Noronha, principal of English Medium High School, Sr Irene Veigas, headmistress of church aided Higher Primary School, Devdas Hebbar, founder president of the alumni association were present on the dais.

Edward Larsen D'Souza, the principal welcomed the gathering, Sunita Kamath rendered the vote of thanks, Naveen Correa lecturer compered the programme.
