Mangaluru: Second phase of free Covid vaccinations held at Srinivas Institute of Technology

Mangaluru, Jul 7: The second phase of free Covid vaccination drive was held at Srinivas Institute of Technology, Valachil, here, under the aegis of its national service scheme unit in association with the district health and family welfare department and Adyar Primary Health Centre on July 7.

Institute principal Dr Srinivas Mayya D set the drive in motion. The camp was held under the leadership of primary health centre medical officer Dr Samanvita by Dr Mariam Rashida in association with primary health centre staff Ahmed Sharif and Asha worker Vinoda.

More than 700 vaccines were administered to teaching and non-teaching staff and students. The college principal congratulated the district health and family welfare department and Adyar Primary Health Centre officials for the success of the camp.

Heads of various departments of the college, NSS division convener Professor Rakesh Mallya, Professor Tony Sebastian, Professor Vivek Vijay, college lecturers and staff cooperated.
