Jai Tulunad organization appeals Kasargod MLA to make Tulu official language

Kasargod, Jun 28: Jai Tulunad organization that is formed to preserve and grow the culture and language of Tulunadu by the youths and elders of the district submitted an appeal to the MLA of the district on Monday, June 28, under the leadership of Harikant Kasargod, president of Kasargod unit of the organization and urged to make Tulu as the official language.

The appeal, along with relevant records, was submitted to sitting MLA of the constituency C H Kunjambu and Manjeshwar MLA A K M Ashraf. Ashraf assured the members and president of the organization that he will bring this to the notice of the government in the next session of assembly. Uduma MLA Kunjambu also assured that he will look into the matter thoroughly.

President of Jai Tulunad Kasargod unit Harikant Kasargod, secretary Kartik Perla, treasurer Prashanth Rai Bandadka, chief convener Pravish Kulal and members Deviprasad Rai were present.
