Mangaluru: Laxmi Memorial College alumni association conduct virtual UK, Middle East meet

Mangaluru, Jun 26: The alumni association of Laxmi Memorial College of Nursing on June 25 hosted the first virtual alumni gathering for alumni from the United Kingdom and the Middle East.

Around 50 graduates from all over the country registered and attended the event. Patsey Castelino, secretary of the alumni association, welcomed the gathering. Suren Kolkankar, founder and CEO of SK Consultancy, led an energetic session on how to de-stress with ease. He went into detail on mind mapping, anchoring, the role of neurochemicals and happiness and optimism tips.

After the session everyone reminisced about their good old memorable days.

The principal, Dr Larissa Martha Sams and vice-principal, Dr Theresa Leonilda Mendonca, expressed their satisfaction at the great turnout of the alumni. The programme was hosted by Shalini Fernandes.
