Udupi, Jun 25: As per a report filed in Malpe police station, a man who suffered heavy losses in business and hence was unable to clear the loans raised by him, ended his life out of this frustration.

Suresh Shetty (48) from Kodavoor Garde, killed himself. He was running a hotel at Pune for the last over ten years. During February this year, he had returned to his native place. He had complained of ill health and was being treated. It is gathered that for the last some days, he was regularly receiving phone calls from his creditors seeking repayment of loans raised by him.

On Wednesday afternoon, he went to the farm located next to his house, and hanged himself from a mango tree.
