Mangaluru: Union minister Dharmendra Pradhan flags off various projects at KIOCL

Mangaluru, Jun 22: Union minister for petroleum & natural gas and steel, Dharmendra Pradhan set in motion through virtual conference various projects of Kudremukh Iron Ore Company on Tuesday, Jun 22. He flagged off four projects including two projects of Mangaluru.

Dakshina Kannada MP Nalin Kumar Kateel was present on this occasion.

The union minister inaugurated Barrel Type Blender Reclaimer constructed at a cost of Rs 17.5 crore as part of the modernization of the KIOCL pellet plant and donation of 50 beds at a cost of Rs 18 lac by Kudremukh Iron Ore Company on the recommendation of MP Nalin Kumar Kateel.

Nalin Kumar Kateel thanked the union minister Dharmendra Pradhan for the donation of an ambulance and a ventilator to the district administration and proposed oxygen production units with the capacity of 250 litres per minute at Uppinangady and Moodbidri.

Sri Nirmalanandanatha Swamiji, Adichunchanagiri Math, state deputy chief minister, Dr C N Ashwath Narayan and other people were present.
