Kundapur, Jun 22: “The cooperative societies providing financial help to the families of covid victims is the first in the cooperative society set up,” said Arun Kumar S V, assistant regulatory of cooperative societies. He was speaking after handing over financial help to the families of eight people who had succumbed to covid.

Aloor – Harkur cooperative society president H Manjayya Shetty said that the society has grown well and earned good profit. “In the circumstances the management decided to donate Rs ten thousand each to the families of covid victims. We will also try to provide government help to the families,” he said.

The cooperative society vice president N Santhosh Kumar Shetty, director Rathnaker M Acharya, H Shanker Shetty, M Chandrashekar Shetty, Gangadhar Acharya, Subba Poojary, Rajesh Devadiga, Amarnath Shetty, Surendra, Harish, Lalita Kulal, Akkayya alias Asha were present.

Chief executive of the society, Shivarama Poojary welcomed. Sanjiv Poojary rendered a vote of thanks.
