Mangaluru: Carmel School observes 'Yoga for well being'

Mangaluru, Jun 22: Yoga is the dance of every cell with the music of every breath that creates inner serenity and harmony.

On the occasion of International Yoga Day, Carmel School virtually kept up 'Yoga Saptaha' from June 15 to June 21.

Each day, a video clip on yogasanas was forwarded to the students of the school who in turn were requested to perform.

On June 21 a prayer service was held to invoke God’s blessings on humanity so that they may experience peace and serenity very specially during these pandemic days of tension and worries.

Chetana Badekar, academic director, Chira Educational Trust, Mangaluru addressed the students and parents on the theme 'Yoga for Well Being'.

Pavithra and Preethi demonstrated some asanas, pranayama and elucidated the significance of yoga thereby revitalizing their minds and bodies leading to a healthier lifestyle.
