Udupi, Jun 18: Dr Avinash Shetty, medical superintendent of Kasturba Hospital Manipal announced, “All services of the hospital, including outpatient services, inpatient services, non-OPD specialty services and health check-up package will be open to the public with effect from Monday June 21. All outpatient services available full day from 8.00 am to 5.00 pm.

All types of surgical facilities are also available. However, the Covid-19 test (RT-PCR) is mandatory for inpatient admission to surgical services. If done in their hometown, it is valid up to 72 hours from the date of the throat swab taken. Otherwise, the mandatory Covid-19 test will be performed before inpatient admission to any surgery."

Those visiting the hospital should visit the temporary screening kiosk set up outside the hospital and will then be shifted to the said respective departments. Mask is essential for all the patients and their attenders and only one attender is allowed along with the patient.
