Panaji: Two die after hit by running train at Balli

Panaji, Jun 18: In an unfortunate incident, two persons lost their lives after being hit by a running train at Balli on Wednesday morning June 16.

The deceased were identified as Chandan Yadav (24), a resident of Chhatisgarh and Sudama Pal (35), a resident of Bihar. Both worked at the industrial estate Cuncolim. Police said the duo may have been walking along the tracks when they were hit by the Nagercoil-Gandhidham Express.

Police sources said that both the bodies were identified by their kin.
