Udupi, Jun 14: Ganiga community leaders under the leadership of former minister Vinay Kumar Sorake, district Congress president Ashok Kumar Kadavoor and Gopal Poojary visited Udupi district SP on Monday June 14, held a lengthy discussion with him and urged the SP to submit an impartial report to the government over the murder of Uday Ganiga without bowing down to any pressure. They urged him to ensure that the guilty are arrested in order to provide justice and compensation to the wife, children, and family members of the deceased.

Vinay Kumar Sorake and district Congress president Ashok Kumar Kodavoor visited the residence of late murder victim Uday Ganiga on June 11 and expressed their sympathies to the wife, children and parents of the deceased.

The family of the deceased who suspected involvement of influential people in the murder requested the Congress delegation that all the guilty should be arrested and punished.

The delegation visited the SP today and submitted an appeal as per the request of the family.

District Congress secretary Prashanth Jathanna, Ramesh Ganiga, Ravi Ganiga Ajri and others were present.
