Mangaluru: St Agnes College (Autonomous) NSS holds stress management webinar

Mangaluru, Jun 7: The NSS units of St Agnes College (Autonomous) on June 5 organised a webinar on 'Stress management during Covid-19'.

The objective of this webinar was to help all students overcome stress and fears faced during the pandemic. The programme began at 12 noon.

NSS programme officer Derik Dais welcomed everyone and introduced the resource person of the programme Shrikant Poojari Biravu, a life skills trainer of National Psychological Health and Neuroscience Agency, Bengaluru to the audience.

Shrikant spoke on various aspects related to stress and stress management. He also enlightened the participants on the use and abuse of drugs by youngsters and ill-effects of the same. He encouraged the participants to share their ideas, opinions and problems which they or their friends are likely to encounter. He expressed his willingness to extend a helping hand to all those who wished to share their problems with him personally.

The encouraging, enriching and educative session ended at 1.00 pm. It was compered and moderated by Shrividya, an NSS student leader. A vote of thanks was proposed by the NSS programme officer Vineetha.
