Mangaluru: Srinivas University pledges to prevent pollution on World Environment Day

Media Release

Mangaluru, Jun 5: BBA (Port, Shipping Management and Logistics), College of Management and Commerce of Srinivas University on June 5 organized a seed collection and online tree plantation drive on the slogan 'Reimage, Recreate, restore' declared by United nations a decade on Ecosystem Restoration.

This drive created awareness related to the environment and sustainable living. The lockdown imposed during the pandemic did not stop the enthusiasm of the students to conserve the ecosystem, as students profoundly contributed by planting in their home garden. The online session ended by learning the effects of global warming and by taking an oath to prevent the environment from pollution.
