Goa University suspends online classes till May 31

Panaji, May 22: After the state government announced the extension of curfew until May 31, Goa University too issued a circular suspending all ongoing online classes at the varsity and affiliated colleges till the month-end.

"The period from May 25 to May 31, 2021 shall also be considered as a vacation for the staff and students who are eligible for vacation. The non-vacation staff shall continue to work from home as per the directives of their respective directorates/institutes till further order," said registrar Radhika Nayak.

"The faculty of Goa University shall have to work on subsequent Saturdays in lieu of the additional days availed as a vacation. The non-teaching staff shall, however, not be required to attend duty on Saturdays," the registrar added.
