Bantwal: MP Nalin Kumar Kateel assures ambulance with oxygen facility

Bantwal, May 18: MP Nalin Kumar Kateel said that coronavirus pandemic control is done efficiently in the taluk and promised that he will provide an ambulance with an oxygen facility from his MP funds.

MP Kateel was speaking after visiting the government hospital in the city along with MLA Rajesh Naik.

Kateel further said, “Dakshina Kannada district has already received Rs 50 crore aid from the state government for Covid pandemic management. In addition, I have also contributed Rs 2.5 crore from my funds. The matter will be discussed with the DC and ambulances with an oxygen facility will be provided.

“Coronavirus pandemic control activity is successfully carried out in the taluk under the leadership of MLA Rajesh Naik. Holding a meeting with the task force in every village is a good development. At present, Covid care centres are made ready for the patients of the taluk along with beds in hospitals. So right now we do not have any issues in the taluk.”

MLA Naik explained the actions taken in his constituency with regards to control the Covid pandemic. Tahsildar Rashmi S R extended information on the status of the coronavirus pandemic in the taluk. Administrative medical officer Dr Pushpalatha gave information on the facilities in the government hospital.

KEONICS president Harikrishna Bantwal, BUDA president Devdas Shetty, Bantwal DySP Valentine D’Souza, city police station inspector Cheluvaraju and Bantwal BJP president Devappa Poojary were present.
