Bengaluru: Health minister Dr Sudhakar visits IAF’s Covid Care Centre

Bengaluru, May 17: Heath and Medical Education Minister Dr K Sudhakar visited the Covid Healthcare Centre being set up by the Indian Air Force at its Jalahalli East Campus in Bengaluru on Monday.

The Centre is being equipped with 50 oxygenated beds, 40 HDU beds and 10 ICU beds including five ventilators and will be operational soon.

Later, the minister visited the Primary Health Centre and Maternity Hospital of the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) at Yeshwanthpur. The BBMP PHC is being converted into a temporary Covid Hospital. 

He also visited the Covid Care Centre at the open playground near the Chowdeshwari Bus Stand in Mathikere.

MLA Munirathna and senior officials accompanied the minister during the visits.
