Bantwal: MLA advises GP task force to encourage people to take vaccination

Bantwal, May 17: MLA Rajesh Naik said that vaccination is the main weapon to control coronavirus pandemic and the gram panchayat task force should inspire every eligible individual of the village to take vaccination.

Naik held taskforce meeting at Sajipamunnoor gram panchayat (GP). The MLA took to task PDO for not giving proper information on people who have arrived in the village from outstation districts and states. Naik said that village can be saved only when everyone works in unison.

Tahsildar Rashmi S R asked the PDS shops to distribute ration till 12 noon. Rajanna, CEO of Bantwal taluk panchayat gave details about the responsibilities of task force.

Members of gram panchayat accused that 320 people of Nandavar people have not received the ration. Tahsildar replied that inspection of godown stock will be done. MLA said that the government has ordered to provide rice to those who have applied for ration card also.

Flying squad officer Akshatha, revenue inspector Rama Katipalla, medical officer Dr Tufail, Bantwal child development planning officer Gayathri Kambali, eminent persons of MLAs war room Devdas Shetty, Devappa Poojary, Purushotham Shetty, gram panchayat president Faustine D’Souza, vice president Sabeena, development officer Mohammad, village accountant Swati members of gram panchayat and task force were present.
