Bantwal: Wrong news of man’s death circulated on social media

Bantwal, May 15: Some unidentified persons have circulated picture of a teacher, Geetha Sahitya Sambrama fame Vittal Nayak on social media, in connection with a death news of a person in Bolanthooru, Bantwal.

In this regard, Vittal Nayak in a video, clarified that he is healthy.

It may be recalled that Vittaldas (60), a resident of Balanthoor had expired in a private hospital on Friday May 14. But, along with death news of Vittaldas, a photo of teacher Vittal Nayak had been circulated. Vittal Nayak, a resident of Kalladka, is working as teacher in Balanthoor. He has his own fan followers. This had created confusion among people.

Hence, Vittal Nayak himself made a video claiming that he is healthy and people need not get confused. "With blessings of all, I am healthy. By adhering to Covid-19 guidelines, be safe at your home,” said Vittal Nayak.
