Czech Republic to donate 500 Plasma Units to Karnataka

Bengaluru, May 15: The Republic of Czechoslovakia has come forward to donate 500 Plasma Units to Karnataka.

This was conveyed by the Czech Republic’s Consul in Bengaluru C S Prakash to Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa, when he called on the latter Bengaluru on Saturday.

Plasma collections have been kept in the Central Military Hospital of Prague and all the costs of maintaining and onward transport till it reaches Bengaluru will be borne by the Republic of Czechoslovakia, Prakash informed the Chief Minister.

State Government’s Special Representative in Delhi Shankaragouda Patil was present during the meeting.

The Chief Minister later held a video interaction with the doctors involved in Covid related work in different districts.
