Mangaluru: New emergency medicine dept of Srinivas Hospital inaugurated

Mangaluru, May 13: The new emergency medicine department of Srinivas hospital was inaugurated MP Nalin Kumar Kateel on Thursday, May 13. He appreciated the good service given by Srinivas hospital and its staff during the first and second wave of Covid-19.

The new department of emergency medicine has red, yellow and green zones where patients will be admitted according to the severity of their condition. The hospital has a total of 81 ICU beds for patient management. Out of which 31 new ICU beds are reserved for the treatment of Covid patients.

President of Srinivas Group of Institutions, Dr CA A Raghavendra Rao conveyed his best wishes to the program. MLA Dr Bharath Shetty congratulated the hospital for the service they rendered.

Local corporators Nayana, Shobha and Shwetha and doctors of Srinivas hospital and the staff were present.

Vice-president of Srinivas Group of Institutions, Dr A Srinivas Rao presided over the function. Dean of Srinivas Institute of Medical Sciences, Dr Udaya Kumar Rao welcomed the guests.

HoD of general medicine Dr Anitha Sequiera delivered the vote of thanks.
