Bengaluru, May 13: Anitha(40), wife of K R Pete taluk Congress leader and director of Mandya Milk Producers union Dalu Ravi passed away due to Covid on Monday.
They had a house warming in their house a few days before lockdown at Jayanagar extension. She suffered from Covid symptoms three days after the programme. She was administered primary treatment at the government hospital and was shifted to a private hospital in Bengaluru for further treatment.
Though she seemed to have been cured since the last three days, she experienced breathing difficulties on Monday evening and passed away without responding to treatment.
Her last rites were held by RSS volunteers at her hometown Kaigonahalli. The rites were held as per Covid protocol in the presence of former MLA K B Chandrashekar and members of her family.
