Bantwal, May 8: In an incident in Sarapadi village, ASHA workers were abused and were threatened with life. The workers had visited a house of Covid-19 positive patient to inform that the patient should not come out of house for any reason.

When the workers were returning, the patient’s relatives Sandeep and Santosh, accused them of falsely giving Covid-19 positive report. They also abused that by giving positive reports ASHA workers earn money. They also tried to attack the workers and threatened to kill them.

The police have arrested both the accused and filed case.

    Illiterate ones.First of all may be the tactic they explained too might have angered them.Still they shouldnt threaten anyone who gives them good help and clearance.Hot blood thinks ,let it be what comes.
