Mangaluru: Special trains of Palakkad division suspend operations from May 8

Mangaluru, May 7: Movement of special trains of Palakkad division passing through the city central and junction stations here have been suspended with effect from May 8 till different dates.

The daily passenger train from Mangaluru central to Chennai central has been suspended from May 8 to 31. The daily train between Chennai central to Mangaluru central has been suspended from May 9 till June 1.The weekly Antyodaya special train from Kochuveli to Mangaluru Junction will stand suspended from May 8 to 26. Mangaluru Junction-Kochuveli weekly Antyodaya special train will stand suspended from May 9 to 30. Thiruvananthapuram-Mangaluru central daily Mangaluru express special train will be suspended from May 8 to 31. Mangaluru central - Thiruvananthapuram central daily Thiruvananthapuram express train will not run from May 9 to June 1. Mangaluru central - Nagercoil daily Ernad reserve train will stand suspended from May 9 to June 1. Lokamanya Tilak terminus-Ernakulam Junction twice-a-weekly special train will not be available from May 8 to June 29. Ernakuluam-Lokamanyia Tilak terminus twice a weekly train Duronto express train will not be run from May 9 to June 30 because of Covid situation, a release from Palakkad railway division stated.
