Mangaluru: MLA Bharath Shetty takes stock of 200-bed Covid care center at NITK

Mangaluru, May 6: MLA Dr Y Bharath Shetty, Mangaluru North constituency, on Thursday May 6 took stock of the 200-bed capacity Covid care center in National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK). He also discussed measures taken to provide care, isolation, and treatment for Covid-19 patients along with the officials.

Later, the MLA who took to Twitter said, "Around 200-bed capacity Covid care centre is established in NITK and arrangements are in pipeline for the additional 300-bed facility if the need arises.

"To treat COVID19 +ve patients and to break the Chain, this center will work to provide care, isolation, and treatment for patients," he wrote.
